It’s brilliantly simple. We are here. Thank you for always encouraging the noticing all there is to be thankful for. It’s limitless.

I have a question? In the 'term'?, 'Thank you', who is the 'you'?

Many years ago, I was led through a whole series of 'events', later catelogued and found to be

highly unusual, to come to the Bible which I didn't bother with until my late 20's. Old stories,

I thought, long time ago, I thought. And my own life got worse and worse, but somehow

'coped', I guess?

Then, I was...have to say it, 'LED' to the 'YOU' of 'Thank YOU' and this has made all the difference.

How amazing is it that my husband, quite a rough, tough person who didn't believe in

love or marriage, having witnessed both in his own life in his hometown in New Brunswick?

He said the ONLY time married couples saw each other, (that he saw) was at parties,

with SOMEONE else!!! So, he had no confidence in either, didn't believe in 'love'.

But, oh my, did he EVER believe in LOVE once he went to a meeting with me (he insisted),

and saw what the Lord (they say 'Jesus'), was like. Roger said that he'd never known such

love, of someone who could love him, the way he was. And we never looked back.

Today, in my case, was a 'low day' where everything 'got to me'. We'd had miraculous things years ago,

but for the last several YEARS, my husband had a bad time, one thing after another.

But my husband explained to me, and I had to agree that his sufferings changed him, and

he became, well, 'the man of my dreams'. And, he's right, it took all that. Hard to bear,

but worth it, really worth it.

So, your sufferings, your unhappiness DID teach you things, WERE useful, and we can be just

as grateful for those things.

Isn't it strange to you how there's so much, so very much 'goodness' in 'life' and we might not

even SEE it, let alone acknowledge it? I'm usually grateful, and today, yes, I slipped.

And this helps me, helps me understand those who 'slip', be more compassionate, less

judgemental even at any level at all. More understanding.

Life certainly is a very full experience.

Thanks for posting, and sharing your own experiences. What a journey!!

Hello friend! Thank you for your story and insight. I'm with you... always in awe of how the hardships convert into happiness. Gratitude is a bridge, and, as you've observed, so is that wonderful ability to observe our choices, changes, and resilience. You ask about the YOU. And for me, it's YOU, and me, Jesus, the Buddha, and the Creator in all of us. God said to call him 'I am.' Sending so much appreciation to you for taking time to read and share and, especially, for being YOU. Love!

Thank you the real 'eulogy', why WAIT until we're DEAD to hear 'the good'? Really.

I believe the ONLY way we can 'survive'(?), 'win'(?), through this dark time is our appreciation, our caring, our celebrating 🍾 ❤️, life. I salute YOU in LIFE. Love.
